Pitching Lessons Taught By a Division 1 College Pitcher, Ryan Salvino

- 2008 Pitcher of the Year at Nazareth Academy
- Participated on the Elite 90 Team of Illinois
- Received a Division 1 Baseball Scholarship to Butler University
- Currently a pitcher for the Butler University baseball team
- Little league umpire
Pitching Lessons Information
- The player will be drilled and instructed on the fundamentals of pitching. The lessons will be held for ages 7 and up. Among some of the skills and fundamentals emphasized:
• Mechanics
• Fielding
• Different ball grips
• How to increase velocity
• Strength
• Stretching
- Lessons will be held in the back yard of Ryan’s home where there is an official size and length dirt mound. Ryan’s home is located at 15 W 531 89th St. in Burr Ridge.
- Lessons will be in the afternoons on weekdays and in the mornings on weekends. Times will vary depending on the player’s
requested time and date. Ryan will be giving lessons starting May 8. Scheduling will be done on a first come first serve basis. You can contact Ryan by phone at (630) 297-3377 or by email at salvesjams25@aol.com.
Cost: The cost will be $20 dollars for a half hour lesson. There is also a 4 half-hour lesson package for $75 dollars. The balance will be due at the end of each lesson. No refund will be made.
What to Bring: Each player should bring baseball spikes, a glove, and comfortable clothing to workout in.
